"duyu" ceremonial wood bowl from the Ifugao people of the Philippines. circa late 19th to early 20th century. traditionally used by high-ranking members of society to serve food and rice wine, it is hand carved from a single piece of wood. a few surface cracks in the wood as shown, overall great antique condition.
